Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java and Python along with domain expertise in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires proficiency in Dutch and English. The candidate will work in a day shift and no travel is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the highest quality of software products.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Python to improve testing efficiency and coverage.Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results identifying defects and ensuring timely resolution.Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies accordingly.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance within the Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting domains.Conduct thorough regression testing to verify that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the testing process.Monitor and analyze test metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive quality initiatives.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.Mentor and guide junior quality engineers providing technical support and sharing best practices.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.Utilize language skills in Dutch and English to collaborate with international teams and document test cases and results.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering to continuously enhance testing methodologies.

Qualifications

Must have strong technical skills in Java and Python.Must have domain expertise in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting.Must be proficient in Dutch and English both written and spoken.Nice to have experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Nice to have experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Nice to have experience with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be committed to continuous learning and improvement.Must have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.Must be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
