QEHS Manager
Job Title: Quality Manager
Job Description

In this role, the individual will lead, coach, and develop the QEHS team, drive the growth of our site’s Safety Culture and processes, and ensure the effectiveness of the Quality & Environmental Management System (QMS, EMS) and related compliance. This includes oversight of cybersecurity measures. The Quality Manager will monitor, analyze, and improve business performance, provide strategic input, assist in new product and process qualifications, and manage the company's calibration program and quality laboratory. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining quality documentation, tracking and resolving EHS incidents, supporting supplier qualification, and fostering a positive, energizing culture.

ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the QEHS team.Drive the growth of the site's Safety Culture and associated processes.Ensure compliance and goal achievement of the Quality & Environmental Management System (QMS, EMS), including cybersecurity.Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve business performance through problem-solving.Provide input for strategic focus and priorities.Assist in new product and process qualifications for both product performance and manufacturability.Manage the company calibration program and oversee the quality laboratory and CMM.Maintain quality documentation expected by customers, including government requirements where applicable.Document, track, and resolve company incidents related to EHS to avoid recurrence and provide EHS ratings/trends.Support supplier qualification and issue resolution.Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service across the Industrial Bearing Division.Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and facilitate quality problem resolution as required.Support the development of a positive and energizing culture.Essential SkillsQuality ManagementISO 9001, ISO 1401, ISO 4501 standardsLeadership experience with at least 3 years of direct reports and team leadershipQEHSExperience in a High Mix, Low Volume environmentMinimum 3 years of manufacturing experienceU.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder due to government-related productsMachining/CNCSafetyTight tolerance partsBachelor's DegreeAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PPAPs and government-related productsMinimum 3 years of working in a high volume manufacturing and lean environmentWork Environment

The work environment includes locations in Grafton, WI, and Columbus, NE, with approximately 100 employees in WI and 60 in NE. This is a High Mix, Low Volume environment, meaning the individual may only be working on 2-3 projects at a time. The company is poised for significant growth over the next 5-7 years, with plans to open at least 40 new plants to meet demand for power, offering substantial growth opportunities throughout the organization.
