Job Description Faststream is currently recruiting for a QHSE Officer to join the team at a ship repair yard in Gibraltar. 

The shipyard is located at one of the world's busiest shipping lanes at the entrance to the Mediterranean, and they offer various services including ship repair and maintenance, dry docking, retrofit projects and vessel conversions.

As QHSE Officer you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across the yard and vessel operations. In particular you will be ensuring that work involving hot works and gas testing is conducted safely and in compliance with regulations. 

Your skills and experience 
Previous experience as Safety Officer, QHSE Officer or similar role in maritime  OPITO certified and First Aid certified or willing to become certified  Knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance  Fluency in both English and Spanish
