Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in OLEDB Qlik Sense MS Excel Database and SQL and MS SQL Server. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust data architecture solutions using OLEDB Qlik Sense MS Excel Database and SQL and MS SQL Server. Oversee the integration of various data sources to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility. Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of data models and database designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and industry standards. Optimize database performance through regular monitoring and tuning. Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture processes and procedures. Conduct regular reviews and updates to data architecture to accommodate evolving business needs. Provide support and troubleshooting for data-related issues and incidents. Lead the implementation of data governance policies and procedures. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys data architecture remains cutting-edge. Mentor and guide junior team members in data architecture best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes and systems.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in OLEDB Qlik Sense MS Excel Database and SQL and MS SQL Server. Have a solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles. Demonstrate experience in optimizing database performance and ensuring data security. Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Show proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation. Have experience in implementing data governance policies and procedures. Display strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management is a plus. Be adaptable to a hybrid work model with day shifts. Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends. Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Possess a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience. Show a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Certifications Required

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
