Job Description: QlikSense Developer (Migration from QlikView to QlikSense)

Our client is currently migrating from QlikView to QlikSense and is seeking an experienced QlikSense Developer to support this transition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both QlikView and QlikSense, with a deep understanding of the differences between the platforms, especially in areas such as data visualization, dashboard creation, and the ETL process.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the migration process from QlikView to QlikSense, ensuring smooth transitions in data models, scripts, and dashboards.Develop and optimize QlikSense dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.Design and implement QlikSense data models and ETL processes to support data-driven insights.Leverage QlikSense's advanced frontend features (e.g., Sheet Objects, Charts, and Visualizations) to create user-friendly and impactful dashboards.Work with QlikSense APIs, extensions, and widgets to enhance application functionality and user experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various relational databases and external data sources using strong SQL skills.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in QlikSense development and a solid understanding of the Qlik ecosystem.Hands-on experience with both QlikView and QlikSense, including migrations between the two platforms.Expertise in data modeling, scripting, and report/dashboard development in both QlikView and QlikSense.Strong proficiency in QlikSense frontend features such as Sheet Objects, Charts, and Visualizations.Experience with QlikSense APIs, extensions, and widgets.Strong SQL skills and experience in integrating data from diverse relational databases and other data sources.
