THE POSITION As a QMS & Product Compliance Director here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) products. Your expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance for our PPE products. You will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective quality and regulatory strategies. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and well-being of millions of workers worldwide. You will report directly to our Sr Director Quality, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC, USA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring that our PPE products meet and exceed regulatory requirements, providing the highest level of protection for workers in various industries. You will be responsible for developing and implementing QMS processes, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and compliance. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in maintaining our position as a trusted leader in the safety industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Lead Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) for our PPE products + Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards + Conduct audits and inspections to assess and improve product quality and regulatory compliance + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives + Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices + Provide guidance and support to the team in resolving quality and regulatory issues U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP®), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. The intent of We expect this role, dedicated to the PPE business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.
