Then consider joining us as a QSHE Safety and Health Specialist at our site in Union City, Georgia. Your Role As a QSHE Environment Specialist you will act as the point of contact for all environmental matters at the Union City, Georgia facility. You will be responsible for compiling data and creating comprehensive reports on company requirements and metrics related to environmental targets. You will be responsible for communicating environment related topics between the various departments. You will work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and will be paid weekly at $29.25 per hour. Your Responsibilities Develop, establish and implement a local Environmental\r\n Management System (EMS) within the branch as required by the KN US\r\n Environmental Management System Policy ManualLead an “Environmental Team” within the branch to\r\n regularly review and perform maintenance activities to the local EMS.Discuss, document and implement Environmental Aspects,\r\n Objectives, Targets for the branch.Provide backup documentation to support each Aspect\r\n with attention to all legal requirements.Provide tools and equipment needed to support Aspects\r\n (recycle bins, lighting systems, substitution programs).Ensure all employees receive EMS training (global and\r\n local).Monthly reporting of GFCC online with documented\r\n notification to branch employees of progress toward goals.Maintain environmental certifications if applicable, such as\r\n to ISO14001.Other duties may be\r\nassigned. Your Skills and Experiences Minimum Education: High School Degree or Equivalent. A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in customer service or quality assurance.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.Experience with SAP or any Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is highly desired.Exercises initiative in following up on pending issues and action items.Ability to effectively solve problems.Ability to establish\r\npriorities and multitask.
