QMS Coordinator
Job Description
Job Summary:
The QMS Coordinator oversees the maintenance and updates of the quality management system,approves QMS documentation changes, manages internal audits, actively monitors quality objectives,and reports quality key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, they ensure proper calibration
of measuring equipment, assist in policy and procedure development, provide quality planning
support to departments, and coordinate safety audits. Managing the company’s training system and other assigned duties complete their responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update quality management system.
• Review/approve the changes related to QMS documentation.
• Manage internal audit schedule, conduct internal audits and assist with external audit.
• Actively monitor Quality objectives and report Quality KPIs.
• Manage calibration program: ensure measuring equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Assist with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Providing departments with quality planning and support.
• Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.
• Coordinating and overseeing all safety audits. Report findings and ensure timely
completion.
• Manage company’s training management system: assigning necessary training to
employees and ensuring timely completion.
• All other duties as assigned by Quality Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing working with Quality Management Systems
• Primary knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard
• Basic mechanical comprehension
• Experience with ERP is a plus
• Microsoft Office – Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
• Basic analytical skills. • Willingness and ability to collaborate through teamwork, and ability to motivate team
members
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn and understand processes and procedures
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Use of safe practices PPE in production environment
Work Environment:
Office / Manufacturing environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving
equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a
manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
This is an office-based position that requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, reading, seeing,
hearing, speaking, concentrating, and communicating.
