**Quality**
The successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance \(QA\) activities and initiatives and will provide leadership necessary to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction, QA team objectives, and to provide leadership and coordination of inspection activities that effectively support the Fort Worth Logistics Center including Receiving and Shipping Inspection processes\.
The position reports to the Senior Manager Civil Certification and interfaces directly with the site Accountable Manager and direct reports as well as appropriate Program Managers\.
**What you’ll be doing as a Quality Front Line Leader**
+ Supervise and coordinate activities of quality personnel engaged in Receiving and Shipping inspection\.Plan daily work assignments\. Maintain workflow through inspection areas\. Monitor productivity of inspection staff\.
+ Provide technical support to inspection staff\.
+ Maintain Departmental instructions\. Assist in corrective action\.
+ Assure compliance to all procedures and regulatory agencies\.
+ Train and qualify employees\.
+ Assure compliance to tool and equipment calibration requirements\.
+ Schedule and equalize quality overtime to support warehouse requirements and labor agreements\.
+ Assist in development of inspection plans\.
+ Develop quality inspection reports\.
+ Provide effective management and direction for the Quality shipping and Receiving functions at the FWLC\.
+ Support the company and customer quality issues and concerns to meet the goal of customer satisfaction through timely delivery of goods and services that meet requirements and expectations at a best value cost\. Develop relationships and collaborate across multiple functions to foster teamwork at a facility level
+ Manage root cause and corrective action \(RCCA\) activities to ensure timely and effective resolution of defects
**Qualifications**
**Skills You Bring To this Role**
+ Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort around management, customers, and regulatory authorities
+ Computer skills, including Microsoft, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc\.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, reports, procedures, and certifications\.
+ Preferred experience with QlikView, RADAR, Bell QA tools, all Bell systems related to day\-to\-day activities
+ Preferred Continuous Improvement /Lean Process Development
+ Preferred Customer Service and Support
+ Preferred familiarity with methods of inspection, processes control and improvement techniques
**What you need to be successful**
10 years’ experience as a Quality Professional in the aerospace industry
4\-Yr Degree such as BS/BA in, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering or equivalent\.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs\., or team lift up to 50 lbs, sit and/or stand for long periods throughout the day\.
+ Ability to use computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties
+ Ability to safely navigate the shop floor in order to visit areas of supervision
+ Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt certification or some other Continuous Improvement certification
