The Quality Analyst for Bariatrics is responsible for assisting the Director of Bariatrics and regulatory compliance of designee with data collection. The key responsibility for the Quality Analyst for Bariatrics is to collect and submit accurate, complete, and timely data to the MBSAQIP Data Registry Platform. This task is accomplished through high-quality data compilation, documentation, and entry of 100 percent of metabolic and bariatric procedures performed at the center into the MBSAQIP Data Registry Platform. The Quality Analyst for Bariatrics assist's in data collection to maintain all bariatric certifications as well as report data quarterly to the bariatric committee meeting. The Quality Analyst for Bariatrics works closely with the members of the metabolic and bariatric and general surgery departments to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects that may be identified.

Minimal High school diploma, preferred RN or LPN Associated Degree. Minimal 1 year in an acute care facility, medical terminology, competent computer skills, preferred 2-5 years clinical management experience in designated nursing specialty.
