Ecolab is seeking a Quality Analyst who will be responsible for analytical testing that will be used in the development of new product specifications. In this position you will perform quality testing, conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials.

What You Will Do:

• Work with production, engineering or QA technical staff to achieve statistical process control and capability.
• Promptly performs reports and records all Quality Control procedures and test results in a precise and accurate manner
• Applies Good Laboratory Practices to accurately record and file all raw test data, including pertinent paperwork -e.g./ chromatograms, graphs, spectra, and test results.
• Communicates results and dispositions to Production and QA and Supervisor as required. Calculates and recommends batch adjustments to Production
• Responsible for performing routine maintenance and up-keep on assigned laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Will be assigned responsibility for calibration and associated record keeping of analytical equipment or other special projects as determined by the QA Supervisor.
• Reports promptly all problems regarding procedures, equipment, products, raw materials, specifications, etc., to the quality Supervisor or designate, as well as other quality Chemists
• Maintenance inventory status of reagents, equipment, etc. in order to keep the lab at full operational capacity
• Prepares lab standard test reagents test reagents, and performs standardization on reagents and calibration of equipment on a regular basis.
• Keeps detailed records and maintains control and/or trend charts
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment and assures smooth operation of the QA Laboratory by communication, planning and preparation in support of other shifts.Working Shift: Candidates work 12 hours dupont shifts alternating between 36 and 48 hour work weeks and includes weekends. The first work week is day shift 4:45am to 5:15pm, the second work week is night shift 4:45pm to 5:15am.Compensation:$30.00/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology or science related field1 year of chemical lab experience or working in a lab settingImmigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Knowledge of \"wet laboratory\" practices, scientific terminology, and the characterization and preparation of materials used in routine and special proceduresA high attention to detail and organizationAbility to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneouslyMust be able to establish and meet deadlines to produce independent results, while building a network of resources in the companyMust work well with other team members, including design engineersKnowledge of SAP systems

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$30.00/hour Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
