Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary** This position will be responsible of executing the day-to-day Quality support tasks for the production lines in the facility which involve both a proactive approach to prevent defects and Quality related disruptions as well as accountability to react upon Quality defects to mitigate time and cost impacts. Performs advanced inspection and audits to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance to company's quality standards. **What You Will Do** + Ensure CQMS is aligned and properly executed in the value stream. + Maintaining quality system documentation. + Identifying, analyzing, and resolving nonconformance. Investigating problems on worked purchased finished, rough, and interplant material. + Interacting with manufacturing team members to determine root cause of quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventive action are implemented and communicated to all key members of the value stream. + Conducting measurement systems analysis; gathering, analyzing, and communicating non-conformance data. + Coordinates various Quality training programs. **Education requirement:** Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering or related field. This position requires fluent English. **What skills you will have:** **Quality Management** : + Practical knowledge of APQP concepts; PFMEA, Control Plan, SWES, and MSA. + Practical knowledge of measurement equipment. + Able to perform CMM report interpretation. + Previously worked with value stream Quality metrics: PPM, FPY, Scrap, BIQ F/N/M. + Understand the Non-Conforming Product Management process. + Have performed Layered Process Audits. + Knowledge of software systems: ETQ, SAP, Infinity, AQE. **Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies** : + Functional knowledge engineering drawing reading and 1E spec interpretation. + Functional knowledge machining process (essential). + Functional knowledge assembly process. + Functional knowledge casting and forging common defects. **Root Cause Analysis (RCA)** : + Utilizes RCA techniques, such as Flowchart, Fish-bone Diagram, etc., to investigate basic problems, determine the causes, and find resolutions. + Extrapolates lessons to be learned to promote the achievement of better consequences. + Effectively ensures that implemented ICA & PCA are communicated and understood by all levels of the value chain. + Generation of RCCA & A3 formats. + Basic statistical knowledge. **Additional Information:** + This position will be in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, MX. + Work will start from Monday to Friday but subject to be changed to Monday to Saturday depending on the support requirements for the production line. + International travel may be required up to 20% of the time (during production line implementation only). + This position is face-to-face. + Relocation not available for this position **Final details** : The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select, and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
