Job Description
As a Quality Analyst I, you will be responsible for collecting and testing samples of ingredients, products, or packages according to established procedures. You will monitor processes to ensure correct and consistent operations, document results neatly and precisely, and label and maintain product retention samples used to monitor the product throughout its established shelf life. You will also organize collected data for management review, maintain lab equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, and communicate non-compliant results immediately to management. Monitoring the plant for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and accurately weighing ingredients, colors, flavorings, and seasonings are also key components of the role. You will test R&D samples for food safety and specification development and conduct other duties as assigned by the plant QA Supervisor or QA Manager.
Hours are 8am-5pm, M-F.
Hourly pay is $26/hr.

You will work in a food manufacturing facility with strong food smells throughout the day. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes steel-toed shoes, a lab coat, gloves, and safety glasses. The dress code is casual; jeans and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty are recommended.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
