Job Description

This position can be filled in Auburn Hills, MI or Gray Court, SC or Lafayette, IN.
 

About the Team:

The warranty team is made up of a diverse group of people with different backgrounds. The team owns warranty from cradle to grave once the claim is submitted to ZF, from testing to adjudication. The warranty team is also responsible for developing and improving warranty reporting along with streamlining the warranty systems to better serve our customers, and to achieve the goal of ZERO defects.
 

What you can look forward to as a Quality Analyst

Work effectively with customers using effective corrective action & adjudication processes to ensure adherence to warranty agreements and contracts. This includes but is not limited to: Communicating with customers and warranty technicians Tracking of claims (importing, database cleanup and matching claims to open recovery) Review of customer contracts and terms Issue warranty payments to OEMs and fleets Maintain detailed records of customer returns Work with Receiving, Accounting, Customer Care & Warranty Manager on receipt of returned parts for payment Perform auditing of SAP to Warranty DB credits and debits Communicate and assist engineering staff throughout the warranty processes to ensure timely dispensation Collaborate with warranty administrative support position to maintain processing of claims within customer time requirements, writing credits and claim record retention Strong desire and/or knowledge of continuous improvement required
 

Your Profile as a Quality Analyst

College degree required (technical associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred) Minimum of two years data processing and reporting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting Experience in warranty/quality processes preferred, General accounting experience preferred Proficiency with MS Excel & MS Word software required MiniTAB and MS Access knowledge a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills critical Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various internal departments and customers Basic Knowledge of 8D process is a plus
