We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QEHS Intern to support our Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. This role offers hands-on experience in QEHS management, with a focus on assisting the QEHS team in driving compliance, continuous improvement, and training initiatives.
The Siemens Buildings internship program is a 10–12-week internship position and is designed to help you create a successful career path as a QEHS leader within Siemens.
The Internship Program start dates for Summer 2025 are May 19th, June 2nd or June 9th.

What you will do as a Siemens Buildings Qualify and Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern:
Assist in promoting and implementing Quality and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) programs and initiativesSupport the QEHS Coordinator in maintaining compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) by helping with documentation, monitoring, and reporting
Aid in the collection and analysis of data for QEHS audits, identifying potential improvements or deviations
Assist in the investigation of QEHS incidents and non-conformances, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action plans
Help develop training materials and create engaging content for Quality and EHS training programs
Support the creation and updating of reports, presentations, and communications for internal stakeholders
Participate in cross-functional teams to support improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational QEHS goals
Perform general administrative tasks to support the QEHS team, including maintaining records and filing documentation

Required Qualifications:
Current sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least one year remaining in their school program. Candidates must not be graduating prior to September 2025Pursing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
Must be located in the Buffalo Grove, IL area during Summer 2025
Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of digital tools for data collection and reporting is a plus
Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world QEHS projects
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

The hourly pay range for this position is $28 - $32. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
