Who will you be working with?
The site in Kąty Wrocławskie is dedicated to the production of pantograph for rail and commercial use. In this role you will report hierarchically to the Plant Director and functionally to the Regional Quality Director.
How will you make a difference?
As a QHS&E Manager you will be responsible to deploy Wabtec Quality strategy. Specifically, to monitor and validate the conformity of products/processes in production; to ensure the Quality Management System is defined, documented, implemented and maintained; to ensure customers’ requirement are satisfied and to represent the site for Quality related matters.
What do we want to know about you?
University degree in a technical faculty
Minimum of 8 years' experience in leading quality and health and safety teams
Proven experience in quality processes
Experience in participating in new technology transfer, transfer/line projects
Fluent English and Polish Language
Ability to influence through influencing, coaching, mentoring and teaching. Ability to teach and develop the team in rapid improvement cycles
Being part of the management team demonstrates leadership courage and a proactive attitude in presenting initiatives
Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal and leadership skills
Clear thinking, ability to analyse and solve complex problems
Proven ability to lead programmes / projects ensuring support from key stakeholders in a matrix environment at all levels
Willingness to work onsite.
What will your typical day look like?
Authority & Safety: Oversee and halt processes/products as needed. Manage site safety.Incident Management: Handle incidents swiftly with Product Line support (QRQC Steps 1 & 2).Quality Oversight: Track and improve site Quality Indicators. Develop and communicate Quality Improvement plans.Quality Culture: Promote a quality-focused culture and manage the site’s Quality network.Audits & Compliance: Coordinate projects and conduct regular audits (Internal, Customer, ISO, IRIS).Customer Representation: Act as the “voice of the customer” for quality matters and escalate major issues.Operational Quality: Ensure control plans are followed, lead QRQC sessions, and secure production lines.Documentation & Collaboration: Provide necessary documentation to customers and collaborate on product/system phases.Data Management: Ensure reliable quality data and closely track customer quality data.What we can offer?
