Job Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Quality and Manufacturing Intern will focus on specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 Magna Strategy and Goals.
Scope of Projects:
· IPCP audits and updates
· Create standard operating procedure documents
· Torque studies
· Process Trial run assistance
· Assist with daily root cause investigation and analysis
· Update build information on assembly line reference forms
· Follow Mafact improvement ideas and projects.
· Time studies
Experience and General Skills Required:
· General computer skills
· Lean Manufacturing knowledge
· Problem solving methods
· General knowledge of assembly techniques and fasteners
Education Requirements:
· The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Engineering
· Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program.
