Quality Assistant

Our client, a leader in the light industrial sector, is seeking a Quality Assistant to join their team. As a Quality Assistant, you will be part of the Quality department supporting a dedicated team of Quality Engineers and Technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Assistant
**Location:** Richmond, VA
**Pay Range:** $19 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform in-process and final inspections on units being shipped from assigned lines.
+ Train local operational teams in relevant elements of quality management and support implementation.
+ Acquire and report on Quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for local processes.
+ Provide feedback to work teams from internal and external customers to promote alignment.
+ Assist in processing nonconformance material and work with the Supplier Quality Engineer to resolve issues.
**What's Needed?**
+ 2 - 5 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
+ Electrical experience is preferred.
+ Strong analytical skills to assess quality metrics and KPIs.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
+ Experience in conducting audits and maintaining quality systems.
