Quality Assistant Manager
Job Description
7:00am-4:00pm $60-$65k (based on experience) Familiar with TS16949 requirements, quality systems, and various automobile standards (IEC, ASME, VDA, JIS, ISO, ASTM, AISI, SAE).Proficient in AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis (fishbone, 5 Whys, FTA).Knowledgeable in ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.Skilled in programming, operating, and maintaining measurement equipment (CMM, Measuring Microscope, Keyence, Autograph, Material Flow Index machine, and other jigs).Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Minitab expertise.

Work Experience
Reporting: Provide daily task progress, weekly inspection schedules, monthly plans, daily updates on Yellow and Red Cages, and report any conflicts or challenges to the Quality Manager.
Quality Target Achievement: Align production objectives with management to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
Appearance Inspection: Schedule inspections, evaluate quantity and cycle times, summarize findings, and report to the Quality Manager.
Inspection Management: Oversee performance and attendance, adjust manpower based on demand, provide training, resolve defects, attend meetings, and manage problem-solving.
Audits: Plan and conduct internal/external audits, report findings, and monitor countermeasures for top management.
Document Control: Manage and store quality documents, update procedures per IATF16949, distribute relevant copies, and maintain physical and digital records.
Customer Relations: Update customer manuals, handle claims (including 8D reports), and prepare PPAP documentation.
Nonconformance Control: Daily update and inspect quarantined products using Kaizen tickets.
Supplier Control: Develop inspection standards, evaluate incoming materials, issue SQCNs, manage defect records, and communicate for quality improvements.
Analyst Management: Monitor sample measurements, maintain inspection standards and limit samples.
People Management: Supervise inspection and testing personnel to ensure material and product control.
Auditor Management: Conduct hourly checks on production and manage Kaizen tickets for issue tracking.
Budget Control: Manage supplies and overtime within budget limits.
Quality Tools: Analyze data and specifications to define quality standards; apply total quality management in reporting.
Continual Improvement: Seek and implement quality enhancement initiatives.
Safety Management: Ensure safety procedures are followed and report unsafe conditions.
5S + 1E Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and eco-friendly work environment.
Professional Attitude: Collaborate effectively with co-workers and supervisors on company premises.
