Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesResponsible for ongoing analysis and follow up of rejected components, including recommendations for corrective action. Assist in corrective action resolution Perform inspections in the Molding area and communicate nonconformance details via email, written reports, etc.Use precision tools and perform dimensional inspections using instrumentation, as requiredFormulate relevant reports of the inspections for Supplier Quality PerformanceDetermine salvageability of defective items, as assignedMust understand and perform all job requirements in compliance with ISO 9001
Qualifications for the roleHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Manufacturing environmentExcellent verbal and written skills for communication with production, supervisors, and co-workersStrong computer and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 40lbs Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functionsAbility to stand for 8 hours dailyComfortable bending, twisting, reachingComfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environmentCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
