Description

•\tMaintain the specification application as part of the product lifecycle management system

•\tManage the specification preparation, update, revision and posting process (i.e. roles, responsibilities, review, input, approval, notification, posting, etc.)

•\tManage the creation and maintain of raw material specifications.

•\tEnsure document content, format and organization accurately addresses customer, regulatory and quality requirements

•\tIs the key resource in the preparation and for managing the preparation of Schuman’s specifications

•\tPrepare and respond to customer inquiries and requests for technical information as assigned for customers/accounts

•\tPrepares ingredient declarations, nutrition facts labeling, and product claims review as assigned

•\tEnsures that document content, format and organization accurately address customer, regulatory & quality requirements

•\tAssist with customer portal uploads

•\tEstablish priorities and workload to achieve on-time completion of deliverables

•\tGather all required documentation from supplier.

Skills & Qualifications

•\tBachelor’s degree in food Science, Nutrition, or related science field.

•\tMinimum 1-3 years of relevant food industry experience

•\tDemonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

•\tStrong communication, presentation and collaboration skills

•\tDemonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally

•\tHighly organized, with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize work

•\tProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $30.25
