Actalent is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor in a Food Manufacturing Laboratory. This is a long term opening with lots of room for growth! This role requires you to have at least a couple years of expiernece as a quality assurance supervisor or lead role in a food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate would have their bachelors degree and previous expiernece as a quality assurance supervisor in a food manufacturing facility. In this specific role you would oversee 2 leads and 10 technicians on night shift.

These openings are 3rd shift 11PM-7M and will run Monday to Friday with expected OT

Job Description

Coordinate the quality assurance technicians to satisfy external and internal customers.Interface with all internal departments to ensure all quality and food safety standards are met.Resolve quality and food safety problems as they occur.Develop a functional understanding of quality assurance principles, testing, and equipment utilized in the facility.Provide basic maintenance and troubleshooting to lab equipment.Ensure the quality assurance team has all necessary resources; order items as needed.Coach and train quality assurance technicians and teammates across other departments.Counsel, evaluate, and discipline teammates as needed.Attend meetings and professional seminars as needed.Utilize available data to develop and implement continuous improvement projects.Use the systems available to communicate and assess production performance during their shift.Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is preferred.Previous experience in a quality assurance laboratory, especially in food manufacturing, is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00
