Quality Assurance Specialist - $23/HR
Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
Conduct regular testing of products to ensure they meet quality standards.Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Maintain accurate records of quality control tests and inspections.Process Monitoring:
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.Identify and report any deviations from quality standards and work with production teams to address issues.Suggest and implement improvements to production processes to enhance product quality.Compliance:
Ensure that all products comply with relevant food safety regulations and standards.Assist in preparing for and conducting internal and external quality audits.Implement and enforce company quality assurance policies and procedures.Training and Support:
Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.Provide support to production teams in resolving quality-related issues.Reporting:
Prepare and present regular quality assurance reports to management.Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (preferred but not required).Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control in a food manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.HACCP, SQF, or other relevant quality assurance certifications are a plus.Employee Value Proposition:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
