We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of customer network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for executing detailed network tests, developing comprehensive test plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and resolve network issues. Key Responsibilities: + Perform manual tests on network infrastructure and components to identify and document performance, reliability, and configuration issues. + Create, update, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on network design, architecture, and performance requirements. + Work with network engineers, system administrators, and other team members to understand technical requirements, clarify issues, and provide feedback on network performance and reliability. + Engage in planning meetings and network review sessions to contribute to an efficient testing and deployment process. + Conduct regression tests on network configurations and protocols to ensure new updates or changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities. + Document network test findings, track performance issues to resolution, and validate network optimizations or fixes. + Suggest enhancements to testing tools, methodologies, and practices to improve the network QA process and increase efficiency. Qualifications: + Education: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. + Requirements: + Top Secret Security Clearance. TS/SCI Preferred. + Experience: + 2-4 years of experience in network quality assurance, network engineering, or a related role. + Hands-on experience with network testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, iPerf, SolarWinds, NetFlow). + Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP) and troubleshooting techniques. + Technical Skills: + Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networking concepts. + Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash) is preferred. + Proficiency with network monitoring and analysis tools. + Certifications: + Preferred certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent. + Soft Skills: + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and documentation abilities. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
