Position Overview
Works with the development team to design, develop and execute test plans for our proprietary software applications.
This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work in the Nashville office at least three (3) weekdays per week.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Designs, documents, and executes manual and automated test cases for ongoing software releases and new software products.
Assists in all phases and types of software testing, including functionality testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, performance testing, browser compatibility testing, accessibility testing, automated testing, end-to-end testing, and others as required.
Works closely with the development team to reproduce errors, identify issues, and resolve problems.
Ensures that all issues are documented, tracked, and updated during the testing cycle using bug documentation software.
Assists the development team in diagnosing user problems and documents issues found.
Learns new test-related tools to assist in QA testing as needed.
Assists in the setup and configuration of QA testing environments.
Relays pertinent defect information to QA, development, and product team members.
Participates in team meetings to discuss team goals, tasks, and tools.
Performs related duties as required.
Adheres to corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
Collaborates with team members to implement and sustain sprint-level automated regression test script development.
Supports research in evaluating new tools, technologies, and methodologies to promote continuous improvement.
