Overview Quality Assurance Analyst Dublin, OH Position Summary The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for working as part of a team responsible for delivering high quality software projects across our financial technology brands. Through the application of systematic test tools and processes you will help deliver reliable, innovative and timely financial services products. You will be part of a team that develops, modifies, and executes software test plans; analyzes and writes test standards and procedures; maintains documentation of results; builds and deploys production software. As a QA Analyst for Community Choice Financial you will work closely with our Product Development, Systems Implementation, and Software Development teams in resolution of issues and creation of solutions. Essential Responsibilities Understand Company products and services and help form their test requirements. Serve as subject matter expert and QA point contact in one key product or technology area. Plan, execute and maintain up to date test cases, test runs and test plans defined for each of your assigned projects. Contribute to test automation and run available automated tests for each release and provide new automation requirements. Assist in software builds and deploys within both our test and production environments. Collect data and test run results for reporting and problem analysis. Detect, isolate, and drive defect resolution prior to production release. Document test execution results for each project and assist UAT testers and apply learnings to improve future testing. Identify any genuine concerns about the software quality that may need to be addressed for further consideration. Actively participate in scheduled and ad hoc meetings within the team or associated with specific projects. Understand applicable company policies, procedures and other job-specific instructive documents and materials. Conduct business and perform job duties in a manner consistent with the requirements set forth in all company policies, procedures and other directives, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Complete all compliance training assigned to them to understand the key provisions of law, regulation and internal policies and procedures applicable to their job duties, as well as the impact of non-compliance on the company’s reputation and success. Identify any practice(s) believed to be a violation of or inconsistent with, company policies, procedures or other directives, or in violation of legal or regulatory requirements for further review/consideration. Monitor processes and procedures to ensure safety and compliance. Model and teach the Company’s Vision and Values. Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals, as directed by your manager. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, or related degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience. 1+ years QA experience. Working knowledge of software testing concepts and practices. Strong aptitude for learning both new software technologies and financial services products. Strong Oral and Written communication skills. Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft .NET, PowerShell or other scripting languages a plus. Knowledge of finance processes and/or experience in finance operations. Ability to operate independently and make good decisions. Ability to adjust to changing priorities, circumstances and direction. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the QA team and other internal departments. Ability to analyze complex relationships and configuration and communicate results in a clear, summary form.
