Quality Assurance Analyst
LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: QUALITY
Purpose
Focuses on defining technical qualifications, managing product documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Coordination team to provide coating quality solutions aligned with project requirements and product documentation. Review applicable standards and specifications to ensure alignment with customer expectations and quality requirements. Analyze current capabilities and risk exposure to assess feasibility and compliance with quality standards. Negotiate project requirements to align customer needs with company capabilities and resources. Create and manage project documentation that defines technical qualifications, quality controls, and compliance milestones. Provide technical and administrative support to maintain quality standards and operational efficiency. Measure performance (KPIs) and monitor quality results to identify areas for improvement and update capabilities. Gather customer feedback and assess future expectations to ensure consistent product quality and satisfaction. Update capabilities by identifying opportunities for process improvement and plant enhancements, working closely with operational teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Audit Support roles. Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and experience maintaining accreditations. Strong organizational and documentation management skills, and understanding of QMS and compliance processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to support internal and external audits with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in Quality Assurance tools and project documentation systems.
