Position Description
This position is for One Quality Assurance Analyst Sr. resources to work on the Commercial Learner’s Permits & 5.3.2.1 CDLIS Changes project. The Commercial Driver’s License Information System (CDLIS) is a nationwide computer system that enables state driver licensing agencies (SDLAs) to ensure that each commercial driver has only one driver’s license and one complete driver record. SDLAs use CDLIS to complete various procedures, including: • Transmitting out-of-state convictions and withdrawals • Validating and accepting and posting incoming convictions and withdrawals • Transferring the driver record when a commercial driver's license holder moves to another state • Responding to requests for driver status and history Compared to CDLIS version 5.2, CDLIS version 5.3 includes the following changes: • Items published in previous Change Control Documents (already implemented) • Medical Certification (MedCert) (modifications required) • Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) Rule • Miscellaneous clarifications/corrections in specification and SPM (no impact to Jurisdictions) This position is being utilized as the Testing resource for the project and will require the creation of detailed documentation on the CDLIS testing process.

Experience Required Minimum of five years’ experience with: 1. Highly complex COBOL programs and systems 2. DMSII databases 3. Documenting highly detailed systems, programs and processes
Experience Preferred a) Experience with American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators (AAMVA) b) Experience with Call List Data Format used by AAMVA UNI application c) Experience with AAMVAnet Message Interchange Envelope (AMIE) formatted messages d) Experience structure testing with AAMVA


Education Preferred An undergraduate degree in a technical field such as mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science of information technology.

Additional Information Due to data access requirements contractor must be a US citizen There is no direct public transportation to this location. Candidate must have their own vehicle. Contractor must have a valid US Driver's License and must obtain a valid Michigan Driver's License within 30 days of start of work assignment. All prospective contractors will be required to pass background and security clearance prior to the start date of this contract
