Quality Assurance Associate
**Hiring Quality Assurance Associate!!** Starting pay $18.00/hr, Bloomington IL As the Quality Assurance Associate/Assistant you will be responsible for all quality assurance processes and personnel within the location. This role will also support the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Typical hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, but candidates must be okay with starting work at 6 AM during the busy Harvest season. Responsibility's Include processing bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversion, visually inspecting all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearance, and processing and submitting samples for quality lab analysis. **Responsibilities Include** + Process bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversion. + Visually inspect all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearance. + Process and submit samples for quality lab analysis. + Work with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requests. + Monitor finished crop quality results and initiate actions with location managers when problems are noted. + Initiate and release 'SEED ON HOLD' within location warehouses and inventory systems. + Assist with the printing and labeling of product for customers. + Handle order/data entry for customers. + Support inventory management. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1 year of data entry/ computer skills. + Minimum 1 year of experience using MS Office or ERP type systems (e.g., SAP, inventory control). + Experience in a shipping, inventory, or warehousing environment. + High School Diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the agricultural industry (farming, landscaping, etc.) is a plus. + Experience using inventory control systems is advantageous. + Experience working in a customer service or phone-based role is beneficial. + Attention to detail. + Willingness to learn. + Ability to learn quickly. + Strong communication skills. + Organized. + Personable. + Professional and presentable, as the role involves greeting guests and visitors. **Why Work Here?** We are focused on top-notch quality, intelligent solutions, and a family-oriented culture. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work if needed.
