Quality Assurance Associate – ISO 9001 Compliance (Chemical Industry):Insert day to day hereMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES- ISO 9001 Compliance & QMS ManagementImprove, and ensure ongoing compliance with the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System. Additional support may be extended to the integration of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems into a combined Integrated Management System.Perform equipment calibrations as assigned to ensure 100% of instruments are properly calibrated and supporting data is entered into GAGEtrak.- Auditing & Process ImprovementConduct internal audits to assess compliance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.Investigate non-conformances, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Support regulatory compliance with chemical industry standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA, GHS).- Quality Control & DocumentationDevelop, revise, and oversee quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and chemical industry regulations.Oversee document control and record-keeping processes to comply with ISO 9001 and chemical industry regulations.Develop and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS) and support Regulatory Affairs as needed.- Training & Continuous ImprovementConduct ISO 9001 training sessions for employees to promote a quality-focused culture.Collaborate with R&D teams to implement process improvements and optimize product design quality.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, or related scientific fields with 1 year technical experience in analytical chemistry and material characterizations. Required Skills: - Experience in HPLC, GC, GPC, titration. - Demonstrated proficiency in experimental execution, data analysis, record keeping, written reporting of results and verbal communication skills.Nice to Haves: Experience with tabletop NMR, rheology and DMA instrumentation is a plus.BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES•\tEfficient time management to deliver a variety of requests on time.•\tOrganizes lab work load efficiently. •\tA team player – ability to collaborate with a team from multiple locations/ disciplines to deliver results.•\tExcellent written communications and documentation.BEHAVIORAL SKILLS•\t Maintaining professionalism and integrity in interacting with colleagues and superiors to gain trust and respect from them•\tEntrepreneurial and execution driven•\tHighly self-motivated•\tDemonstrated eagerness to learn.•\tEnsuring safety and regulatory compliance, and proactively looking to improve lab safety•\tDisplaying a positive outlook and willingly dealing with the stress in complex situations.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; talk or hear. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
