Quality Assurance Auditor 3

Pay Range: $22.36 - $24.70

JOB SUMMARY
Performs inspections of components and parts to ensure conformance to specifications. Acts as a self-starter,
self-sufficient and requiring minimal direction. Trains and mentors less experienced inspectors
and associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborates with engineers to develop standards for all inspections, process audits, and testing to
ensure conformance with manufacturing requirements, engineering specifications and quality
standards.
• Performs various laboratory testing of component and products for ISIR, defect investigations, quality
audit and other activities.
• Promotes Quality Mindset throughout Operations through processes audits to ensure processes are
properly documented and followed.
• Creates and manages work instructions. Provides training, feedback, guidance and direction to Level 1
and 2 auditors.
• Performs AQL based component and product inspections for receiving, salvage, and final inspection.
• Investigates issues and documents all findings by creating Non-Conforming Material Reports
(NCMR’s), Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s), and other reports to ensure issues are documented and
actionable. Immediately escalates critical non-conformances to appropriate stake holders.
• Leads activities to ensure non-conformances are quarantined and remedied with minimal direction.
Issues Material Alerts for product quality issues when products have moved beyond Murrieta
Operations containment. Travels to various sites to correct non-conformances.
• Performs warranty and customer complaint product receiving, inspection, performance testing and
teardown to determine root cause of failure. Independently documents findings and provides
technical expertise to quality engineer.
• Documents KPIs and performance results. Works with Lead and supervision team to adjust KPIs,
schedule and rotate associates.
• Promotes continuous improvement using established Kaizen practices.
• Promotes and instills 5S across team without direction.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
• Must be willing and available to work assigned schedule to include daily overtime, weekends, or
alternate shift hours as assigned by Supervisor/Manager to reach production goals.
