The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will have extensive experience in software testing, particularly in web application testing and test automation. This role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies to ensure our applications deliver an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications (single page app) and APIs using natural language. Utilize technologies like Java in conjunction with Selenium WebDriver (3.x versions) for development leveraging BDD knowledge. Ensure high quality software by providing comprehensive test coverage and enforcing best practices in testing. Create and maintain documentation related to automated test cases, test plans, and test results to support knowledge sharing and transparency. Design customized automated reports that can be circulated with stake-holders on a regular basis Define, generate and implement test data required for the automated runs. Report issues in work management tools (e.g., Jira) with detailed steps to reproduce the issues. Collaborate closely with software engineers to create and maintain test artifacts that may be reviewed by external stakeholders in real-time. Develop re-useable automation components that can be scaled across multiple clients. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives and work collaboratively with the distributed Scrum teams. Work and support PROD related issues and help identify the gaps. Work in collaboration with clients if neededSkill Requirements:
8 years' experience in software testing is required. 3 years of experience in web application testing and test automation is required. Experience in developing Automation Frameworks from scratch. Strong proficiency in Java programming (Core JAVA). Must have a working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM. Proficient in database query languages (e.g., MySQL). Must be familiar with QA testing methodologies. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with defect tracking software (JIRA is a plus). Experience with Selenium Grid is preferred. Experience using Continuous Integration tools (preferably JENKINS) is preferred. Knowledge of Open-Source Tools (such as test cases repository, defect tracking, SOAP UI, REST API testing, STORM, etc.) is a plus. Experience working in a healthcare environment such as pharmacy and healthcare products is preferred.Education/Certification Requirements:
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.Additional Requirements:
