This position is responsible to plan, organize, direct, and lead the personnel and work process of the quality management program.

Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of New Jersey.Excellent interpersonal skills with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.Ability to be flexible in meeting scheduling needs.Able to handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature and function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced professional environment while providing a strong attention to detail and achieving results.Able to work independently, proactively, and resourcefully with little or no supervision. Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.Possess knowledge of the CQI (continuous quality improvement) process and the ability to apply concepts to varied activities.Excellent training, presentation and leadership skills.Proposal writing and analytical reasoning, ability to interpret and evaluate complex information, while identifying patterns and essential issues.Team development and facilitation techniques to help teams achieve their highest potential.Advanced computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Performance Expectations: 

 

Conducts studies and analyzes data to evaluate CFG performance in quality improvement and contract compliance, duties including but not limited to: timeliness of services, quality of care, and compliance with policy.

Performing computer-based statistical analysis of data related to the Quality Improvement (QI) program;

Collecting data from one or more sources including Patient charts, logs and other data sources; Monitoring and ensuring the validity of data; Utilizing CFG data systems to generate manipulate and analyze data; Evaluating reports for accuracy of data; Performing analysis to determine statistically significant trends in the data compared to community standards of care and recognized benchmarks; Periodically review sick call, intake medication pass, H&P; Chronic Care; Emergency response and other areas of the healthcare delivery system  Creating process documentation/screening tools for QI activities; and Organizes and chairs the CQI site committee meetings.Analyzes, develops and implements improvement activities to increase compliance rates as measured by NCCHC standardized benchmarks and definitions, with duties including but not limited to: root cause analysis for contributing factors; Participates in developing and implementing Corrective action plans (CAPS)Evaluating and reporting compliance rates on a quarterly basis; Leads and participates in special projects, as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

 

RN License State of NJA bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or Medical Arts is preferred.
