We are the team that manages rapidly growing Third Party skills catalog for Alexa across all devices and Market Places. If you are excited by technology and working in a fast paced challenging environment drives you, we would love to have you as part of the Amazon Alexa Skills Certification team. The team is responsible for high quality of skills in Alexa world, let it be a device or market place launch or new experiences to customers. This includes the entire ingestion and certification process for Alexa skills, which involves the entire life cycle from the time a developer submits a skill to the time it is put up on the store, and ensuring the high quality experience for Alexa customers even after that.
We are looking for a “Quality Assurance Engineer” to work on the third party skills testing, the big chunk of the Alexa skill Catalog. If you are interested in challenges that span across Devices, Market Places and an increasing catalog of skills day by day, this is the opportunity. The QAE candidate must have proven expertise in scalable systems and working across technologies.
The QA Engineer must be able to define and drive best QA Practices, implement Automation and work with Partner teams to push Quality upstream.
Key job responsibilities
· Define and establish QA methodology for various domains in Alexa Skill world.
· Develop and Drive QA strategy, Plan and Implementation across New Initiative Programs.
· Implement Test Automation across Skill Domains. This includes exploring existing Frameworks for Automation OR provide requirements for Framework(s).
· Grow Automated QA Coverage for major Functional Areas across Skill Domains.
· Work closely with Product Teams to drive Quality upstream.
· Define Quality Metrics and Implement measurements to measure Skills catalog health and bring continuous improvements.
· Provide consistent communication to Stake holders.
· Be responsible for creation/modification of appropriate test tools that can be used by Other Team Members.
