JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Engineer (QE) collaborates with other internal teams to drive process standardization/best practice, waste elimination, cost reduction, risk reduction, and continual performance improvement primarily encompassing our internal Supply Chain Cross Functional Operations Teams. This position will have a good understanding of an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, along with the ability to effectively apply and teach Quality principles and advanced concepts in a challenging and diverse work environment. This position typically reports to a Quality Manager within the Quality Department under the Supply Chain Operations umbrella. This role is essential to WWT's desire to become the best technology solutions provider in the world.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor. Support the pre-launch phase of the programs or projects to ensure all the essential customer requirements are documented and controlled. Develop and manage an effective PFMEA and Control Plan that focuses on prevention, early detection, and in-process or post-work inspection for designated business processes. Collect, measure, and analyze complex data to identify continual improvement opportunities for internal performance metrics as well as key performance indicators to ensure business excellence. Support and participate in internal, external or customer audits. Initiate and facilitate CAPA meetings (Corrective Action / Preventive Action) to drive Containment, Root Cause, and effective Corrective Actions to mitigate recurrence.
