Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Create test cases, validate, and execute the tests ensuring delivery of quality artifacts.
• Closely work with Product Managers to understand and capture product requirements and vision.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Power System Application engineering, manages test plans and testing methodology for software projects related to Power System Applications.
• Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams at the COE.
• Break down problems and estimate time required for quality related tasks
• Demonstrate increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas
• Apply various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLC
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Write effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactored
• Begin to collaborate with development team in bugs fixing and build plans
• Collaborate with Quality Leaders in creating test plans
• Implement and configures testing tools.
• Define quality metrics, best practices and coding patterns, and provides deep expertise on the coding
Education Qualification
For roles outside USA:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
For roles in USA:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience2years

• Strong Knowledge with Power Application Software
• Basic understanding on Katalon studio and Katalon runtime engine.
• Has basic experience in test automation
• Has experience in testing web services
• Has experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems
• Has experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Has experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure
