Job Title: Quality Assurance EngineerJob Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be essential in upholding and auditing our AS9100 quality management system (QMS). The perfect candidate will have extensive experience with AS9100 quality systems, interacting with government clients, and handling quality flow-downs.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and manage company quality system documents, metrics, and procedures.
+ Manage internal audits, training, and external quality consultants.
+ Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
+ Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for customer deliverables.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procedures accurately reflect business practices.
+ Oversee internal and supplier corrective actions, and conduct supplier on-site quality visits.
+ Maintain AS9100 certification and stay updated on all new quality requirements.
+ Maintain and organize all company procedural documentation.
+ Train and guide other employees on the basics of quality control and assurance.
Essential Skills
+ Significant experience in maintaining and auditing an AS9100 quality system.
+ Knowledge of government quality flow-downs and dealing with government customers.
+ Ability to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
+ Capability to generate FAIR documentation for customer deliverables.
+ Proficiency in using quality-related software.
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.
+ At least 5 years of experience in a quality position or a related role.
+ Strong knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SolidWorks PDM or related configuration software is a plus.
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential risks and liabilities.
+ Experience working with the Federal Government or Department of Defense is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
