We are searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Rochester Manufacturing Facility, based in Rochester, Indiana.Join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement quality standards, control plans, and inspection processes to ensure product integrity. Conduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for product and process deviations.

Develop and implement quality standards, control plans, and inspection processes to ensure product integrity.Conduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for product and process deviations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, Q4) and customer standards.Support internal and external audit processes, including Layered Process Audits (LPA).Train and support production teams on quality systems, best practices, and problem-solving methodologies.Act as a key quality representative ensuring alignment with customer requirements.Maintain detailed records and generate reports on quality performance, issues, and resolutions.Must be willing and able to travel to our sister location in Three Rivers, MI regularly. Other travel required - MinimalAll other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.3+ years' experience in quality engineering or quality control role in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (Corrective actions, APQP, PFMEA, Fishbone/8D/5Why).Experience with internal and external audits (LPA).Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry.Quality Certifications (CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt, CQA, ISO, etc.)About AAM:
