In a nutshell
As a QA Automation Engineer for ComLIMS-Quotation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications within a Scrum team of six developers and QA engineers. Your primary focus will be on automated testing, maintaining an automation ratio of 80%, while also performing exploratory testing to identify usability issues, visual glitches, and functionality gaps. You will be responsible for acceptance and deployment testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Your role
+ Your role will require active participation in backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, adhering to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
+ You will contribute to continuous delivery by automating test suites, ensuring their integration within the CI/CD pipeline at appropriate stages. Additionally, you will follow and question test strategies and plans, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high-quality product delivery.
+ Through collaboration with product owners, business analysts, developers, and fellow QA engineers, you will foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
+ In this role, you will also be expected to maintain strong communication with the Team Manager, providing regular updates. You will rapidly acquire and continuously deepen your knowledge of Eurofins EurIS systems, beginning with ComLIMS-Quotation. Additionally, you will cultivate productive relationships with both IT and non-IT stakeholders to ensure smooth cooperation across the organization.

Your profile
+ To be successful in this role, you should have at least three years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both automated and manual testing.
+ A solid understanding of different types of testing, including acceptance, sanity, and exploratory testing, is essential.
+ You should be proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C# and have experience with UI automation testing tools like Selenium or JavaScript frameworks.
+ Knowledge of web service patterns (REST) and enterprise service bus (ESB) patterns (queues) is also required, along with the ability to test them using automation.
+ A strong analytical mindset and debugging skills are crucial for investigating defects and performance issues.
+ You should have experience working in Agile or DevOps environments and be familiar with test integration within CI/CD pipelines.
+ Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is necessary, along with a good conversational level in Vietnamese to facilitate local communication.
Preferred Qualifications
+ While not mandatory, experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) tools such as Reqnroll, SpecFlow, JBehave, or Cucumber.js would be highly beneficial.
+ Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell, or Bash for automation, as well as familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling, would be advantageous. Additionally, experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL would be a plus.
