General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designedDesigns and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure ratesAnalyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actionsCollaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs Basic Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in applicable engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
