Incoming Material Inspection/rework:** + Conduct detailed inspections on incoming materials, components, and subassemblies. + Conduct rework of microscopic quality violations on delicate surfaces and items + Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections using specialized tools and equipment. + Verify that materials meet specifications outlined in engineering drawings and quality standards. **2. Documentation and Reporting:** + Review and verify supplier certificates of conformance, inspection reports, and material data sheets. Help and define supplier inspection protocols could also be a nice additional line + Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records + Generate precise documentation and reporting to the suppliers as well as internal partners. **3. Quality Control Procedures:** + Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures and checklists. + Participate in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. + Ensure compliance with industry standards **4. Collaboration and Communication:** + Collaborate closely with the procurement, engineering, and production teams to address quality issues. + Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure continuous improvement. + Provide feedback and recommendations to improve supplier performance and internal processes. **5.** **Compliance and Auditing:** + Support internal and external audits related to incoming inspection processes. + Ensure all quality activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. **Preferred qualifications:** + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in incoming inspection or quality assurance within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry. + Proficiency in using inspection tools like; optical microscopes, measurement devices, material analysis devices + Strong understanding of quality standards.
