Tailoring the Product Development Process (PDP): Adapt and tailor the existing PDP to meet the specific needs of mechanical development for eDrive products, ensuring alignment with project-specific goals and performance criteria.

V-Cycle Process Development: Develop and implement the V-Cycle process for Mechanical Engineering Components (MEC), ensuring that all mechanical development stages—from concept through verification and validation—are clearly defined, efficient, and in line with project objectives.

Stage-Gate Model Integration: Ensure the mechanical development process aligns with the broader Stage-Gate Model, defining clear milestones, criteria, and deliverables at each stage to facilitate smooth progression.

Work Product Template Customization: Customize, review, and release work product templates specific to eDrive systems, ensuring consistency and clarity throughout the mechanical development lifecycle.

Role Definition and Clarification: Define and refine roles within the mechanical development process, ensuring clear responsibilities and accountability across the team, tailored to the needs of eDrive product development.

Workflow Guideline Creation and Editing: Create, edit, and update detailed workflow guidelines that provide clear instructions for each step of the mechanical development process, with a focus on the specific requirements of eDrive products.

Collaboration with Global Teams: Work closely with global engineering teams to refine workflows, templates, and processes for mechanical development, ensuring standardization and effective collaboration across regions and projects.

Process Adjustment for eDrive Systems: Continuously refine and optimize the mechanical development process to meet the specific requirements of eDrive products, ensuring process relevance and efficiency.

Implement and Roll Out the eDrive EDF: Support the implementation and roll-out of the tailored eDrive Engineering Development Framework (EDF), ensuring its successful adoption by teams working on mechanical development.

Training and Knowledge Transfer: Take responsibility for training and coaching team members on the tailored mechanical development process, including the V-Cycle, Stage-Gate Model, and eDrive EDF, to ensure all teams are fully prepared to follow the new process.

Process Review and Alignment: Regularly review the tailored PDP and V-Cycle to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and integration with other engineering disciplines.

Gate Review Support: Support Stage-Gate reviews by ensuring all tailored process guidelines are followed and that mechanical deliverables meet predefined criteria before advancing through the development stages.
