Quality Assurance Engineering

BRP is looking for a skilled QA engineering analyst to join its dynamic and growing Digital Customer Experience Testing and Quality Assurance Engineering team. As a Digital QA Specialist you will be able to demonstrate your talents and enjoy working on a variety of digital projects (E-Commerce D2C) in a fast paced and agile environment.

You will define and execute unit, regression, system integration test and smoke test cases, ensuring the quality and responsiveness of our digital technology platforms alongside a talented and passionate development team working on a vast array of systems. 

\n

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

\n\nBe the voice of QA during projects and lead the digital team in discussions regarding QA test strategy and planning. \nMeet with Scrum Manager regularly to discuss projects testing progress by providing status updates. \nActively participate in the testing of digital properties and applications, its subsystems, interface (API), and its supporting technical infrastructure. \nAnalyze project documentation to determine test case and script design, participate in test execution and defect resolution. \nWrite, revise and verify quality standards. \nCoordinate and execute other test types including system, conversion, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. \nDefine test strategy, test approach, and test environment requirements. \nDesign and prepare test data. \nCreate test plans, innovative test cases, release notes, test logs etc., based on requirements and test execution. \nMaintain QA documents up-to-date across sprints. \nCollaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features. \nSuggest ways and implement them to improve Agile testing practices. \nOther duties as assigned. \n\n

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

\n

The successful candidate will have the following: 

\n\nWorked in a QA capacity for 5+ years or more and led QA practice on projects. \n5+ years practical experience with I.T. principles, testing theory and methodologies. \n5+ years proven track record in participating and executing test plans, including analysis, sprint, design and execution. \nExperience with test automation frameworks such as UTAF.\nExperience in working with cloud based technology.  \nExperience in UI, API and E-commerce (plus).\nExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, qTest and TestRail.\nExperience with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel). \nStrong organization, planning, coordination and scheduling.  \nExcellent analysis and problem-solving skills. \nShould be a team player who works with a sense of urgency towards timelines. \nAdaptable and flexible, takes ownership, transparent and proactive. \nCustomer service focus and relationship management skills. \nDemonstrate an aptitude for leadership with strong communication skills (written and verbal).  \nPost-secondary school education in Computer Science. \nExperience in an Agile Environment (Scrum, Kanban). \nFluent English. French is a plus. \n\n
