About the Role:

As a QA Food Safety Coordinator, your primary focus will be on conducting comprehensive testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. You will work under supervision to ensure that our products meet rigorous safety and quality specifications. Your responsibilities will include maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting evaluations, and interpreting data to uphold the integrity of our quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance.Collaborate in the evaluation, calibration, and validation of testing instruments.Analyze and interpret data from routine tests to confirm that materials meet established specifications.Apply standardized methods to document and review results, engaging in peer collaboration.Participate in various laboratory operational duties to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and implement corrective actions on laboratory equipment.Uphold Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) throughout all processes.

Essential Skills:

Solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).Experience with chromatography and chemical analyses.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.Knowledge of food defense and food safety practices.HACCP Certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

PCQI (Preventative Controls Qualified Individual) Certification is a plus.Juice HACCP Certification is preferred.A Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, ideally in Applied Chemistry or Chemistry.1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance laboratory within the food industry.

Work Environment:

You will operate in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment in a clean and safe laboratory setting. Regular work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour. Eligible benefits may include:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
