To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What You’ll Be Doing** The Quality Assurance Governance Lead supports the US Strategic Business Unit lines of business, including Commercial Banking, Private, Personal and Digital Banking and Private Wealth Management, by establishing and maintaining governance over test programs, scripts, outcomes, reporting and procedures aimed to provide consistent and well documented execution of assurance framework. The Quality Assurance Governance Lead supports management by monitoring adherence to assurance procedures, processes and protocols, evaluating and maintaining the adequacy of assurance workpapers, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, partnering with the business on enhancements identified through assurance testing, preparing management reporting, and leading cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for centralization of QA responsibilities. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How You’ll Succeed** As a member of the Credit Controls Team, you will actively manage risks to support alignment with the Bank’s Risk Culture. Core accountabilities include: + Assessing and developing the design and execution of assurance plans, including control testing, monitoring, and quality assurance programs. Enable the delivery of high quality workpapers for line of business management and other stakeholders to evidence assurance approach and conclusions; + Evaluating opportunities for centralized QA testing, assessing stratification of populations based on nuances in the process, and document sampling methodology; + Developing and maintaining procedure inventory in support of assurance activities, including annual review, documentation of effective challenge and approvals, and socialization of roles and responsibilities in accordance with procedures; + Evaluating, assessing and maintaining key risk and performance indicators (KRIs and KPIs) relative to both assurance activities as well as outcomes. Engage with relevant stakeholders to address excesses in KRIs and KPIs to target root cause, and improve outcomes; + Designing and delivering reporting on assurance results, themes and observations in order to provide management transparency and facilitate program enhancements; + Support sustainability testing to document operating effectiveness of business process changes and requirements. **Who You Are** + **You're passionate about people.** You find meaning in relationships, and surround yourself with a diverse network of partners. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $115K - $130K for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
