Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Quality Assurance Inspector **Location:** Tappan, NY **Pay Range:** $28.00 **Shift-** 2nd Shift- 4:00pm-2:00am **What's the Job?** + Enforce HACCP, GMPs and Food Safety & Security plans/procedures; update and maintain compliance with regulations. + Perform routine facility walkthroughs and communicate findings/problems to the Quality Control Manager. + Conduct inspections of incoming goods and advise supervisors of off-specification goods. + Analyze product quality including sensory evaluation to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Supervise and participate in all phases of production, ensuring adherence to quality control measures. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Food Science or equivalent. + Minimum two (2) years of work-related experience. + Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry software. + Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays as needed. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in food safety and quality assurance. + Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. + Engage in continuous learning and professional development. + Be part of a company committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
