Quality Assurance Manager

Position Objective:

Quality Assurance Manager for our Cleanroom Los Angeles, CA location. This position will also be responsible for oversight of our Corvallis, OR location.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager develops and manages the Cleanroom quality management system, to assure ongoing compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, customer quality expectations and industry regulations. This individual is responsible for establishing and enforcing  standards, for driving continuous improvement in the quality control and assurance space, and for quickly, decisively and gracefully resolving customer quality concerns. This individual is responsible for enforcing the environmental monitoring program, in-process and final product testing program, and will execute validations of equipment and processes, issue change controls, perform periodic review of procedures, and hosts customer audits.

The nature of this position will require that the Quality Assurance Manager works with employees at all levels in the organization therefore necessitating a certain political agility and innate situational awareness.

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee Cleanroom Process and Environmental Monitoring  Developing and enforcing standard operating procedures to ensure full compliance with ISO and industry, standards Direct influence on meeting customer requirements. Perform other related tasks, projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned. Maintain ISO 9001 Quality Management System Plan Internal Audits, document control, customer audits, and complaint investigations  Drive continuous improvement  Oversee in-process and final inspections  Sales and Service support  Supervise team of QA Technicians, QA Inspectors and Janitorial team members.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong work ethic Attention to detail Interpersonal, organization and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

Education and Experience:

Quality Assurance experience is preferred 4-year degree or equivalent is preferred ISO 9001 experience preferred Pharmaceutical or biotech industries experience is a plus

Required Qualifications:

At least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license required for 10% travel Successfully pass Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks

Compensation:

The salary rate that Vestis reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $88,400 to $132,600, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission.
