Quality Assurance Manager

 

About the position:

 

The position exists to assure and maintain the correct product specifications and respective BOM information implementations while managing Incoming material inspection procedures related to Shisha Factories in Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, Maintain Quality system support, Lead and effectively manage material changes process, shelf life of the related materials and effective communication within GSC and RD.

 

Main areas of responsibility:

 

Leading Quality assurance division in JTI Egypt factory

Incoming materials inspection (IMI) related to Shisha Factories in Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan Integrated Management Systems (IMS) BoM management Process Development New Materials qualifications

 

Coordinate with GSC Procurements and Suppliers relating to quality trends and performance

Managing incoming material inspection process for Printed, Syrups, and Flavors materials, and insect infestation related to incoming Tobacco, and lead-related quality issue investigation Contributing to evaluation of suppliers’ performance and related quality issues and actions that are taken Following up on the completion of all corrective/ preventive actions related to IMI for the Shisha factories in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan; and related QUIPs  (quality of unsured products)

 

Manage the implementation and maintaining of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and related processes (Calibration, Audit, etc.)

Manage the creation and update all the factory documents to assure a full implementation for document control procedure that fulfill JTI and ISO standards requirements Manage the QME (quality measurements equipment) Calibration plan internally and externally for all factory's quality measurements equipment

 

Review all product quality aspects like planning, manufacturing methods, and specifications

Product specifications management including the new recipe updates by reviewing and approval on the data being exported from different SAP modules for all EGP's factories and communicating them to the interested parties in all EGP's factories as well as Primary area SCADA system updates  Active role in planning for new changes that related to product development including testing criteria and effectiveness checking, besides the new materials initiatives and related run ability tests assessment Provides the related analytics on monthly basis across the MS Access database and Power BI tools in the EGP2 factory

 

Requirements:

 

University Degree (B.Sc.), preferably in Science or Engineering 5-7 years’ experience in the Manufacturing Environment Fluent at English spoken and written People management skills Analytical skills KPI's management
