Who You Are

Provides specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools for problem solving and assessment. Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met. Makes recommendations for corrective action. Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution. Implements principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods are used to improve product systems safety, reliability, and maintainability. Responsible for maintaining quality standard of products and the procedures and materials that go into work scope. Aligns quality management function with the performance needs of product lines. Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.

This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA.  This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

This is a continent position based on contract award

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will:

Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.

Monitor all operations that affect quality.

Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians, and other staff.

Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.

Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Other duties as required

Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role.

Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.

Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.

High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.

Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

Any ASQ Quality Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

9+ years of proven working experience as a quality assurance manager.

BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.).

Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required
