Quality Assurance Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to establish and aim for quality goals, create and update quality assurance policies and procedures, and manage initial quality control for new products. The ideal candidate will investigate and resolve customer and supplier defects, oversee quality during high-volume production, and manage product change control processes. Additionally, the candidate will plan and manage quality-related budgets, ensure product compliance with customer requirements, and achieve and maintain industry certifications. Responsibilities + Establish and aim for quality goals. + Create and update quality assurance policies and procedures. + Manage initial quality control for new products. + Investigate and resolve customer defects. + Investigate and address supplier defects. + Oversee quality during high-volume production and initial stages of production. + Document and control product quality data and decide on shipping products. + Implement continuous quality improvement. + Manage product change control processes. + Plan and manage quality-related budgets. + Ensure product compliance with customer requirements. + Achieve and maintain industry certifications. Essential Skills + 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry. + 5+ years of management experience. + Bachelor's degree preferred. + Experience in the automotive industry. Work Environment Our large and new manufacturing facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including robotics on the floor, air conditioning, and a full cafeteria with a chef who changes meals daily. Employees have access to a new gym, locker rooms, and showers. We provide 80 hours of paid time off annually, in addition to our paid shut down weeks (one in the summer, one for Christmas). We also offer a 401K plan with a 5% match after 6 months of employment. Employees receive uniforms after 90 days and company-branded soccer chairs. As part of our recognition program, we organize family-friendly events, such as fully paid trips to Sea World. Please note, the dress code requires long sleeve shirts and pants (no jeans). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $105000.00 State of the art facility with new gym, locker rooms, and shower. Full cafeteria with chef that changes meals daily. Robotics on the floor. Air conditioning, straight OT, 80 hours PTO loaded day one up front unless maintenance then they get 120. Ton’s of recognition for you and family.
